The 2016 Shilin Residence Chrysanthemum Show will start from November 27th all the way to December 11th. To celebrate the upcoming 2017 Taipei Summer Universiade, the organizer uses sports as the floral-arrangement inspiration, using chrysanthemums of myriad variety to create different kinds of sports settings.

The exhibition is not just for flower viewing, but also to advocate horticulture, raise awareness on environmental protection and facilitate tourism in Taipei City. A variety of chrysanthemums are used to create masterly displays at the exhibition, attracting visitors nationally and globally alike. It has been held for 15 years since 2002, there will be even more interactive activities for visitors this year. There will also be outdoor concerts, children's puppet show, indigenous tribal singing and dancing, magic show, orchestra and other diversified performances.

Besides visiting the Chrysanthemum Show at Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence, visitors are also recommended to stopover The Lin Yutang House, Yangmingshan National Park, Beitou Hot Spring, and Beitou Library nearby.

Opening hours:
Outdoor exhibition areas open daily from 8 am – 7 pm.
Indoor exhibition areas open daily from 8 am – 5 pm.
Public Transportation Information:
MRT – Disembark at MRT Shilin Station. The venue is a 10-minute walk from Exit 2.
Bus – Disembark at any of the following bus stops: Taiwan Power Company North Taipei District Office, CKS Shilin Residence, and Xiaobei Street.
