This is the sixth year of the New Taipei Christmasland and the celebrations start November 19th. The event has been listed as the most representative international tourism activity of the "Time for Celebration -- Taiwan Tourism Events" by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation in 2015. It is also the most important annual winter event of the city. The Christmasland festivities will be all the way to January 2nd, 2017 for a total of 45 days, celebrating not only Christmas but also New Year.

This year, there will be not only the largest 3D Projection Mapping of Taiwan, the longest light show, but also 8 Christmas themed container cabins turning City Hall Square into an European style Christmas market. The nearby area of Taipei City Hall will also be decorated with blue Christmas lights to create a romantic atmosphere. The pink fantasy carousel is the perfect spot for photos that attracts both children and adults. There will also be Christmas concerts from December 16th to 18th with singers and performers.
