The 2016 Penghu Ocean Fireworks Festival begins from April 18th all the way to June 23th at Guanyin Pavilion Leisure Park. The firework shows are scheduled to be on display every Monday and Thursday at 9:00PM to 9:15PM during the festival period.
The festival is held annually since 2003, and has become Penghu’s must-go summer event. Besides the spectacular fireworks show, famous Taiwan singers and performing groups are invited to make the festival even more enjoyable.

The opening ceremony for the festival will start on 4/18 at 19:30 till 21:00. Visitors can enjoy various shows, activities and stage performances. During the Mother’s Day and Dragon Boat Festival weeks, the organizer will add more sessions of fireworks show on the Saturdays (on 4/30, 5/7, 5/21, 6/18). Also one at Jibei Island on May 16th and one at Aimen Beach on June 4th. The festival will last for two months with a total of 26 sessions during this period.
