Spring Scream was first organized by two Americans, Jimi Moe and Wade Davis for the love of art and music. Began with a total of 20 performing groups in 1995, the event not only provides a stage for local music bands and artists to perform, many foreign individuals and bands are also given the opportunity to participate in this arts and music feast. As the festival grew throughout the years, more events are held at the same period of time. It was later named Kenting Music Festival by the official and organized Henchung Airport, Erluanbi for many other parties and events.

Kenting Music Festival is a series of live music concerts that is held this year on 2015/04/03-2015/04/05. The music festival consist of splendid music concerts and events, such as Spring Scream, Spring Wave, Foam Party, Colorful-spring Party, Moonlight Party, and Fun Electronic Party, featuring the elements of music, arts and culture in the festival. Thousands of visitors will descend on the tropical town of Kenting, and the whole area will form one big party over the weekend, making it a spectacular haven for relaxations and enjoyments.

Kenting Spring Scream Festival is Taiwan’s most historic, largest and internationally renowned music festival since 1995. Being hosted in April each year at Taiwan’s southernmost holiday haven- Kenting with performances of over 200 local and oversea artists, djs on 8 stages once again set at areas of Kenting Eluanbi Park. Other parties and events such as pring Wave, Foam Party, Colorful-spring Party, Moonlight Party, and Fun Electronic Party are to be held at Hengchun Airport, South Bay, and hotels on Kenting Street.
