Hot spring and the local hot spring cuisine, they come in pair always. After a nice, soothing hot spring, the local dishes will end your visit with a smile. Most of the cuisines are in Taiwan style or Japanese style, but western dishes are offered now depending on your location, local restaurants and resorts. Hot Spring is known for relaxing but there are a few tips before going in. Stay hydrated, get out whenever you feel like out of breath, and remember to shower before you get in. Then just enjoy and let the water do the work. Like the night markets, hot springs are definitely must visits when you come to Taiwan. It’s too good to miss.
