The annual Christmas Light Festival has grown more and more popular with their biggest hit, the Christmas tree at the National Museum of Taiwan Literature. With the beautiful decorated tree reflecting with lights and on the surroundings, it attracts photographers and tourists from everywhere.

The Tainan Tourism Bureau and Chih Kang Metal built 5 Lion Robots 3 meters high especially for the event. Symbolizing the five elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, the idea of lion robots actually comes from the traditional lion statue from the temples. They sort of looks like the robots from the Transformer movie. The robots will be in display through the holidays until March 5th next year. They are currently in display at the Taiwan Metal Creativity Park and the naming of the robots is undergoing at the moment.
