Sun Moon Lake International Fireworks Music Festival is one of the three major events in the area along with Cherry Blossom Festival and International Swimming Carnival. This year, the annual 2014 Sun Moon Lake International Fireworks Music Festival is held from October 17 to November 9. The festival is scheduled with concerts, fireworks and bicycle festival, all under the beautiful scenery of Sun Moon Lake. The music performances include rock concerts, orchestra pieces, dance acts and cinematic productions, and spectacular firework displays.

As one of Taiwan’s top annual events, the 2014 Sun Moon Lake International Music Festival lasts five conservative weekends. A total of 6 lakeshore concerts will be performed by famous groups of musicians, and 5 firework shows will be fired on 10/18, 10/25, 10/26, 11/1 & 11/9. The festival will open with a special event – 2014 Nantou County Group Wedding. With different musical event on every weekend later on, the festival attracts visitor globally to join. The month-long program includes a diverse range of performances by Taiwanese singers, and large symphony orchestras ending with fireworks are special events must not miss you are visiting Sun Moon Lake.
