The Taiwan Hot Spring Season is promoting events around Taiwan. The 2014 GuanZiLing Hot Spring Festival will begin on November 8th along with the Water and Fire Cave 300 Year Celebration. A series of activities, star light concert and markets awaits you.

Hot Spring is definitely the most popular activity during the winter. With the celebration holding around the island, it is the best time to look for promotions and bargains. The 2014 GuanZiLing Hot Spring is about to launch on November 8th. While the nearest attraction, the Water and Fire Cave celebrating its 300 years, the festival contains a series of events such as 300 years memorial exhibition, theme activities, star light concert and local feature markets.

GuanZiLing Hot Spring is one of the early developed hot springs. It is one of the four major hot spring spots along with Beitou, Yangminshan, and SiChongXi. The GuanZiLing Hot Spring features unique minerals and substance, which changes the color of the springs to dark grey, thus the name Black Springs and Mud Springs were referred to this place. It is so unique, the rare mud spring where not easy to be found around the world. The water heated by geothermal and natural gas with a heavy smell of sulfur, will definitely soothe your weariness and good for the skin.
The festival will start from November 8th to December 15th. Free shuttle buses are provided during this time. Guided tours are held around famous attractions in the area like the hot springs, the water and fire cave, and Biyun Temple, as well as hiking routes. It’s about time to head down to Tainan for some hot spring action and good food.
